Wall St opens higher as Iran deal optimism offsets hawkish Fed

June 18 (Reuters) - Wall Street's major indexes ‌advanced on ‌Thursday with technology shares leading ​gains as optimism about a Middle East peace deal ‌offset worries ⁠about a hawkish Federal Reserve ⁠under new Chair Kevin Warsh.

The Dow ​Jones ​Industrial ​Average rose 79.3 ‌points, or 0.15%, to 51,571.85. The S&P 500 rose 67.3 points, or ‌0.91%, to 7,487.36, ​while ​the ​Nasdaq Composite rose ‌389.0 points, or ​1.49%, ​to 26,410.623 at the opening bell.
