An awkward red carpet appearance by Victoria Beckham, son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, has resurfaced amid the family’s public feud.

A video filmed at the October 2023 premiere of Netflix’s documentary series Beckham appeared across social media on Tuesday, January 20. The video shows Nicola, 31, appearing uncomfortable as she poses for photos in the arms of Brooklyn, 26, who stands beside his mom, 51, and dad, David Beckham.

Nicola is seen maintaining a steely expression, avoiding eye contact with Victoria and David, 50, in the clip and only smiling for a moment when Brooklyn glances at her.

The resurfaced video comes one day after Brooklyn shared scathing claims regarding his estrangement from his parents, many of which discussed alleged hostility towards Nicola, who married into the family in 2022.

A photograph taken at the event also shows the entire Beckham clan, including Romeo Beckham and his ex, Mia Regan, Cruz Beckham and Harper Beckham, smiling into the cameras while Nicola looks to the side of the red carpet with a concerned expression across her face.

Brooklyn’s public statement addressed his long-standing family feud for the first time in public, claiming that David and Victoria “have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”

He alleged that the couple, who have not publicly addressed their son’s statement, have “controlled narratives in the press” about their family. “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into,” Brooklyn stated. “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”

Brooklyn also alleged that Victoria attempted to derail his wedding to Nicola, writing, “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”

He also claimed that Victoria “hijacked my first dance with my wife,” before alleging that the fashion designer “danced very inappropriately on me” in front of their guests. “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment,” Brooklyn’s statement read.

One day after Brooklyn’s wedding recount was posted, a guest allegedly spoke out via a since-deleted Instagram comment, per reporting by PageSix, about what he witnessed. “I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth,” Stavros Agapiou, who is the partner of British DJ Fat Tony, reportedly wrote. “Good on him for finally speaking out!”

Also on Tuesday, a former hairstylist who allegedly worked with Nicola in 2014 took to Instagram to criticize her. “Brooklyn’s wife was one of the worst ‘celebs’ I’ve ever worked with. It’s her … she’s a baddddd apple,” Justin Anderson alleged in the comments section of a news post by @bestofbravo. “Everyone knows how close the Beckham family really is.”
