As Love Island USA is rolling out its eighth season, fans can't stop thinking back to Season 6, which was arguably one of the most memorable seasons of Love Island ever.
Two years after Peacock aired the memorable season, which spawned several breakout stars like Leah Kateb and Kordell Beckham Jr., The Mirror is sitting down with Love Island icon Kaylor Martin to discuss details and updates for the fan-favorite cast.
Kaylor, 24, had an emotional journey on Love Island after she chose to stay loyal to her connection, Aaron Evans. Aaron broke her trust throughout the season, leading to Kaylor creating some of the most iconic quotes in the show's history. Now, as she settles down with her new beau, she is revealing to The Mirror US where the cast stands now while giving advice to current Season 8 islanders.

As an expert herself, she lent one piece of advice to islanders in the Villa right now, or hopefuls who may see the Villa within the coming years – don't try too hard. "One, just stay true to you. Be the same girl you always have been. I think, if you're not yourself on Love Island, it will read through," she said.
She emphasized the importance of being authentic. "If you're trying to have famous Love Island one-liners, people will clock it. Just be you."

Looking back at her time on Love Island, Kaylor also told us the piece of advice she'd give to herself a few years back when entering the experiment. "I look at myself on TV and I say, 'Baby, stand up! Like, speak up for yourself!'" The witty reality star said.
"I was very timid, and I didn't speak up for myself. I definitely did not have the confidence I do now," she said. "This industry makes you grow up fast. If I was timid like I was on Love Island and saw a hate comment, I'd still be in bed crying today."
Speaking on Season 8, Kaylor said that "a lot of what she's been watching seems to be really organic."

According to Kaylor, the Season 6 crew is still going strong. "I was literally just on FaceTime with Serena this morning. It's so hard because when we all are so busy all the time," she said candidly.
She added that while they all work long hours, she appreciates when brands put them together for a collaboration.
"I was just with Kendall and Rob in Nashville for the CMAs. That was amazing," she dished. "Serena, JaNa, and I are planning a trip right now. And Leah just texted me to check in."
Kaylor also added that she spent the past month filming Destination X, the reality challenge show that places contestants at unnamed locations across Europe, where they have to solve the mystery of their own location.
