The *Stand by Me* star, 54, confirmed that he is doing well and is back to making music after suffering a medical emergency aboard a recent flight to Los Angeles.

“I wanted 2 touch base after that big ol health scare & let u all know im alive & well!” Feldman wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday.

The *Gremlins* actor also took a moment to clarify rumors surrounding the potential cause of his hospitalization.

“It was a big scare bcuz a dr misdiagnosed me & then some1 on the medical staff sent that misdiagnosis 2 the media in real time, based on the result of a preliminary blood test!” he wrote. “However it was only food poisoning thank god!”

He concluded, “I’ll b ok. Now back 2 rock n roll.”

'Stand by Me' cast felt instant bond reuniting as adults after 40 years with 'bittersweet sadness' over missing costar

Feldman was on a flight home from a live *Stand by Me* event in Chicago on Monday when he began to feel sick. He received care from an onboard doctor for the duration of the trip before being rushed by paramedics to a nearby hospital for further treatment once the plane landed at LAX Airport.

While doctors reportedly believed that his pain could’ve been related to pancreatitis or gallstones, Feldman’s publicist confirmed in a statement to* * that the actor had instead been hit with “a really bad case of food poisoning.”

The rep added, “Having food poisoning on a plane was a nightmare, but Corey is very grateful for all of the love and well wishes!”

Now that he's feeling better, Feldman is focusing on the release of his new single, "What Am I Here 4," as well as a pair of live performances in Southern California on July 25 and 26.

"Heres a video message from me introducing my new single coming out on 6-22-26 its called #whatamihere4? Poignant timing eh?" he wrote in his Instagram post. "I have been recording @ the gr8 @nightbirdstudios @sunsetmarquis & workin w a whole new team that includes @philiptheartistmusic @joeycheez & of course as usual #greggs."

He also teased that he has even more updates surrounding his music coming soon. "4 now, just a taste," he added, sharing videos of himself both announcing and performing the track.
