Christina Haack Reveals Group Chat Name with Boyfriend Chris Larocca, Ex Tarek El Moussa and His Wife Heather

The screenshot Haack shared of their group messages offers a look into their blended family dynamic and frequent hangouts together

Christina Haack is pulling back the curtain on her group dynamic with her boyfriend Chris Larocca, her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather.

The HGTV star, 42, shared a glimpse of the group's messages and revealed the name of their chat in a screenshot shared to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 23. The screenshot included a photo that Larocca sent to the group shows him posing next to Tarek.

Larocca is all smiles as Tarek holds up a pool cue next to him and makes a funny face. “My boyfriend and Heather's husband having a boys night ‘offline' wasn't on my bingo card,” Haack wrote over the image, tagging everyone's Instagram handles.

The screenshot also revealed the name of the group chat, “Double Trouble,” which is accompanied by a photo of the foursome dressed up in evening wear.

Despite having a unique dynamic, the group often spends time together, including going on blended family vacations with the whole crew. Haack has also previously shared how her ex-husband and his wife — who are also her costars on HGTV's The Flip Off — are her “fav couple” to go on double dates with.

Haack and Tarek first married in 2009 and starred on Flip or Flop together. They share kids Taylor, 15, and Brayden, 10. The pair had a very public split in 2016 and later finalized their divorce in January 2018.

While the exes have been open about not being on great terms for years after their divorce, they've since spoken about how “time healed” their situation and they were able to put their differences aside for their children.

After Tarek and Heather tied the knot in October 2021, the couple welcomed their 3-year-old son Tristan. Meanwhile, Haack — who also shares 6-year-old son Hudson with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead — has been dating Larocca since the fall of 2024.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE published in October 2025, Haack opened up about her blended family and how she's able to make her unconventional friendships work with her ex-husbands.

“It really takes everyone in a co-parenting situation wanting to make it work,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “I have people message me all the time to be like, ‘How did you do that? My husband's ex hates me,' or 'I could never hang out with my ex.'"

“It takes all of us, and right now there's four people in this situation — myself, my boyfriend Chris, Tarek and Heather — and all of us want to get along,” she continued. “All of us work hard to make sure that we're all getting along.”
